Several Customers Restored in Trelawny and St. Ann Some Outages in St. Andrew
JPS is reporting that several customers who were out of supply this morning, in the parishes of Trelawny and St. Ann, have now been restored. The outages were caused by high winds and flooding, associated with the cold front being experienced by the island. Significant improvements have been made in Trelawney, as power has now been supplied to Top Trelawny, and teams are presently on location in Stewart Town.
In St. Ann, power supply has been returned to: Wild Cane, Silver Spray, Laughlands, and Lime Hall. While work is ongoing in the Runaway Bay, Beverly, Mount Arrarat and surrounding areas.
Iron Gate is still out of supply, but will also be addressed as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, some areas in St. Andrew have also been impacted by outages, due to the prevailing weather conditions. These include Duhaney Park, sections of Barbican and sections of Stony Hill.
JPS wishes to assure its customers that its crews are working to restore power as quickly as possible.
