Vice President, Customer Service and Communications

As Vice President of Customer Service and Communications, Keith Garvey has overall responsibility for the following areas: Customer Experience, Corporate Communications & Customer Care, Community Renewal and Customer Solutions, Revenue Security, and Corporate Development (JPS Foundation).

Keith has over 20 years of experience at the leadership level in the energy sector. He was most recently VP Community Renewal & Energy Solutions. Prior to that, he was Regional Director with responsibility for JPS’ Operations in South-Central Jamaica (Region Central). His passion for customer service, success and his belief in team work are reflected in both his professional and personal endeavours..

Originally from the lush parish of Portland, Keith is a graduate of Titchfield High School. He has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST, now University of Technology – UTECH) and holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Since 1998, he has gained extensive experience in the field of engineering at JPS, the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ), as General Manager of the Ministry of Energy’s Rural Electrification Programme (REP), and also as an engineering consultant..

Mr. Garvey also serves as the Chairman of the JPS Foundation.
